Felice Varini and his optical illusions

Felice Varini is a Swiss artist well known for his geometric perspective-localized paintings of rooms and other spaces, using projector-stencil techniques. According to mathematics professor and art critic Joël Koskas, "A work of Varini is an anti-Mona Lisa." Opticall illusions he makes can be seen only from one place in the room, from a certain perspective. Illusions are created using a projected image which is then painted onto the relevant surfaces.

Banuiesc ca aproape toata lumea a auzit de notebook-ul minune de la Asus, dupa unii cea mai curajoasa firma producatoare. Acest fapt se datoreaza faptului ca sistemul va veni echipat cu o versiune de Linux scuipand in fata celor de la Microsoft. Cu un start-up time de 10 sec si o durata a bateriei cel putin decenta, 3.5 ore, Eee promite si prezinta. Modest dar cinstit, ofera portabilitate maxima si dupa cum arata cateva screenshots vazute cu sistemul de operare, foarte user-friendly.
Acum, sa revenim la premiza postului si sa va spun cum ar fi buna aceasta mica jucarie pentru blogging; daca cele spuse mai sus nu sunt de ajuns sa convinga pe oricine sa se accesorizeze cu asa ceva atunci poate pretul de aprox. 250$ (la emag vreo 11 mil) s-ar putea sa sune mai bine.
Cred ca principalul atuu pentru mine personal ar fi portabilitatea maximizata de greutatea scazuta, de lipsa pretentiilor, de viata bateriei, de agerimea sistemului de operare. Asta lasand la o parte celelalte avantaje oferite de orice notebook.

Se pare ca socialistii din Parlamentul European vor reducerea TVA-ului la prezervative. Exista si o petitie in acest sens. Incerc sa ma gandesc daca e vreun lucru rau in asta. In afara de producatorii si statele in cauza poate nu vad nicio parte rea a acestui demers. Mai ales ca sunt destul de scumpe pentru un adolescent cu hormoni in loc de sange. Iar daca face concesii si se orienteaza spre marci autohtone sau chinezesti s-ar putea sa aiba diferite surprize ce pot fi transmise si altora sau sa i se termine tineretea. Asa ca as spune ca petitia merita. Don't you think?
